Q. Who can attend Liftex International 2019?
A. LIFTEX 2019 is targeted for all those in the trade sector whose responsibility it is to manage, specify, install, modernise or maintain lifts and escalators in any kind of private, commercial or public sector building: lift contractors, consultants, engineers, local authority representatives, facilities managers, architects, facilities managers, quantity surveyors, disability service providers, property developers and managers.
Q. How can I pre-register for the show?
A. On line Registration will open in May 2018.
Q. When will I receive my badge?
A. You will receive your badge approximately 2 weeks before the show together with the Show Preview to help you plan your time at the event. Further information to help you plan your visit is available on the website.
Q. Where does my badge allow me access to?
A. Your LIFTEX 2019 badge allows you free entry to all areas of LIFTEX.
Q. What if I have forgotten my badge when I arrive at the show?
A. Just go to the registration desks and give the staff your name, they will locate your details on the computer and issue you with a new badge.
Q. Can I register on-site?
A. Yes, but if you have not pre-registered and do not have an invitation from an exhibitor, or the organisers, there will be a £10 charge and you will have to complete a registration form at the entrance.
Q. What time do the doors open?
A. The halls open for visitors at 9am each day.
Q. How do I find my way around the show once I have arrived?
A. You Are Here boards are located at the registration entrance and around the hall. If you pre-registered for LIFTEX 2019 you can use the Show Preview sent with your badge to plan your visit before the show. You can find regularly updated floor plans on the website.
Q. Is there a cloakroom for bags and coats?
A. Cloakrooms are situated adjacent to the hall entrances and are open daily until twenty minutes after the close of the exhibition.
Q. Can I bring children?
A. Children under 16 are not permitted to enter the show except in special circumstances and by prior arrangement with the organisers.
Q. I am a student, am I able to attend the event?
A. Yes. Student tours can also be arranged.
Q. Where can I eat?
A. Themed cafés serving light snacks and refreshments can be found within the halls alongside numerous bars, restaurants and seating areas offering anything from a quick drink to a more substantial meal.
Q. Is there a cashpoint?
A. Full banking facilities are available at the Natwest Bank located in the Piazza outside Hall 4. Cashpoints are located adjacent to Hall 1 and in the Atrium, opposite Hall 8 and next to Hall 9.

Q. I require an invitation letter to assist with my visa application. How do I apply?
A. Please refer to www.ukvisas.gov.uk for full information on how to obtain a visa to visit the UK. We can only issue an invitation letter once you have registered for the show, and proof of registration will be required. For your invitation letter please contact enquiries@leia.co.uk
